meet the artist
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, whatever that may be. I love coffee and wine, playing tennis, and gardening or doing house projects. My husband and I are both foodies, we'll try just about anything, and love to be in the kitchen with our girls.
Looking back, I guess you could say I've always loved photography. In high school, I brought a camera everywhere I went and was always the one taking pictures of friends. However, I went through college and graduated never really thinking about photography as a career path for myself. It wasn't until I got married and started having children that I picked up the camera and realized that I really LOVED being behind the camera. I found myself photographing my kids (all the time) to capture those precious moments you never want to forget. I knew that photography was really where my heart was, but between teaching and juggling 3 kids, I never thought I would get to do this professionally. I began learning as much as I could about the business in hopes that one day I would be able to do that. Once I had friends asking me to do portraits for them that I realized that maybe it was possible! All of the support from my family has really allowed me to focus on this new dream I and turn this "thing I love to do" into a full-time business. I feel so blessed to call this my "job" and I can't wait to meet you and your family soon!

There is no greater gift or challenge in life than being a mom. As my girls have gotten older, I look back and wish I could relive "those days" all over again. I know just how fast the years pass by and how precious time is. As each new chapter of motherhood comes, another one closes. It's bittersweet, humbling, and refreshing all at the same time. and I feel so blessed to have the experience of motherhood. I truly believe that each new season of motherhood brings new challenges but is worth celebrating and being documented. Being a mom has been my greatest challenge, but also my greatest reward!
