This precious mom to be and her sweet husband came into my life through a professional friend, and their Burden Center maternity session is one I’ll never forget. We had an unforgettable session and there’s a very special reason why. Not only was she brave enough to do an outdoor session in the South Louisiana summer heat, but she is also expecting TWINS!!

To say my twin-girl mom heart exploded is an understatement. Oh, and she is having GIRLS!

Our session was scheduled for late in the evening in hopes that we may get some slightly cooler temperatures. Despite our best efforts, our planning did not help us out too well. The summer heat definitely got us. It was still scorching hot at 8:00 pm, and within a few minutes into our session we were sweating bullets. We got as many shots as we could in one location just to keep from having mom walk too much in the heat. In the end, mom-to-be still looked beautiful and we were able to get many beautiful images. I loved having her in the rose garden with all the pink tones paired with her long white dress. The pretty wreath belt around her belly was the perfect accessory to show off her bump too.
