Oh my word! I love the Harrell Family for many reasons and now they might be the bravest family I know! This family session at Highland Road Park in Baton Rouge, LA might go down as the hottest family session EVER! July is a huge month for them. They celebrate two birthday’s and an anniversary, so I knew getting this session in was very important to them. Even though we planned for early in the morning, the smoldering Louisiana heat did not give us any grace! I almost melted and was completely gross by the end. Somehow they looked amazing!

Highland Road Park Family Session

When Maggie and her family arrived I couldn’t believe how much their children had grown! It’s been two years since our last session together and I was quickly reminded how fast kids change. Still the same, but so different. Their little boy was so excited because he was having his birthday party that afternoon and their little girl was excited to show me her fancy nails she’d just had done. I’ve known Maggie and Kris for a lifetime and being able to capture their family year after year means the world to me! I see their love for each other is just as great today as it was when they started dating. Their children are so sweet and fun to be around, and they make capturing timeless images so easy. I always have a hard time narrowing down images for them because they are all so cute!

Thank you Maggie and Kris for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. I love watching our family grow from year to year and I hope we get to do this again soon!
