Hello, hello!

Welcome to the brand new Amanda Higgins Photography website. If only you knew the journey it took to get here.

I won’t bore you with every detail, but here’s the short version: the old site had to go.

It no longer represented the work I wanted to create. It didn’t have room to grow with me or my business. And it didn’t feel the way I want you to feel when you stop by. So out it went.

That was a year and some change ago.

Wait, a year? Yes. Let me explain.

What started as a quick refresh turned into a complete rebrand. At first I made the changes I thought everyone else needed, following what everyone around me was doing. I quickly realized I was going to look just like everyone else. That’s not what I wanted, and it’s not how I want to serve my clients.

Then life happened. Raising my kids and supporting my family and my husband’s business needed me more, and at the time, that was the right call.

Now I have the time and the clarity to know exactly how I want to serve you moving forward. So here we are.

I wanted this to feel intentional, honest, and genuine. I wanted my work to do the talking, and I wanted you to feel how much this work matters to me, and how much you matter.

My services had shifted, but so had the way I want to take care of you. I didn’t want to be the photographer who sends off a gallery of files and calls it a day. That never felt like my job was finished and I’ve learned that most clients want more than that.

So I rebuilt my process into a completely new experience.

From the branding to customizing the site, everything here has been done by yours truly . I’ts been a labor of love and I’m excited to share it with you. There’s now a clear path from start to finish, so take a look at [recent sessions] and explore my [services] to find what fits your family best.

What does working with me look like now?

It all starts with a simple conversation.

From there, we get to know each other, plan the details together, and design artwork that fits your life and your home.

Artwork is the heart of what I do now. You’ll leave with finished pieces made for your walls, along with your digital files.

By the end, it’ll feel like you just had a date with a close friend, and you’ll already be excited for the next time we get to meet.

I get to watch your babies grow over the years and become a small part of your family’s story. That’s a pretty big deal to me.

What will you find on the blog?

Along with recent sessions, I’ll be sharing real, relatable posts for moms going through a season of transition or growth. And for my fellow business owners, some honest talk about the business side too.

Some days we’ll laugh together, some days we might cry, but either way, we won’t be alone.
